Problem statement
The messaging templates in the current flows were inconsistent in layouts, typography and often use outdated UI elements; causing friction with users who lose trust with the brand and often can’t tell if the message is authentically from McAfee or a scam.
To address these issues, I implemented an audit of our current design patterns and create a consistent template library to ensure a holistic design system for our users.
Solution
The vision was to establish a clean, simple, and visually impactful communication system that reflects the brand identity and delivers a cohesive customer experience.
Creating a design system based on previous design patterns helped us gain trust from our users by delivering consistent design and content.
Achieving this enabled us to increase brand recognition, engagement, and brand trust for our users.
