Problem statement
The messaging templates in the current flows were inconsistent in layouts, typography and often use outdated UI elements; causing friction with users who lose trust with the brand and often can’t tell if the message is authentically from McAfee or a scam.
To address these issues, I implemented an audit of our current design patterns and create a consistent template library to ensure a holistic design system for our users.
Solution
The vision was to establish a clean, simple, and visually impactful communication system that reflects the brand identity and delivers a cohesive customer experience.
Creating a modular, scalable design system based on previous design patterns helped us gain trust from our users by delivering consistent design and content.
